This animated film was commissioned collaboratively by the Ministry of Tourism of Uruguay and UNICEF, as part of the national PESNNA-VT initiative—Prevención de la Explotación Sexual de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes en Viajes y Turismo Facebook +12 Gub +12 Gub +12 . 🌿 My Role: I designed both the storyboard and motion design, aiming to transform complex and sensitive regulations into an engaging, compassionate narrative. The goal was to highlight how tourism can be used to protect children, not expose them. 💡 Project Highlights: A concise yet powerful video (about 10 seconds or modular scene) that visually explains the Code of Conduct and societal responsibility within Uruguayan tourism to prevent sexual exploitation of minors Gub Gub . Clear, empathetic animation that respects the gravity of the subject while avoiding sensationalism. Designed to be repurposed across social media, tourism agencies, educational workshops, and online campaigns. 🌍 Why it matters: Uruguay has advanced legislative and institutional frameworks—including a national Code of Conduct, interagency coordination led by INAU and supported by UNICEF—to combat sexual exploitation in tourism contexts Prensa Latina +10 Gub +10 UNICEF +10 . This video was crafted as part of a public awareness strategy to ensure robust engagement from local authorities, industry professionals, travelers, and the wider community. Every frame was chosen with intention: to inform, empower, and mobilize. This work reflects my dedication to design that serves a larger purpose—and beautifully communicates real impact.
