The challenge

Spider Solitaire needed a short video ad that could stand out in crowded mobile feeds and convince users to install the game within seconds. The challenge was balancing entertainment with clear gameplay communication while maintaining a strong call to action that encouraged downloads.

The approach

I designed and animated a fast-paced video ad in After Effects, combining gameplay highlights, energetic transitions, and bold motion graphics to create an engaging viewing experience. Every scene was crafted to quickly communicate the game's appeal while keeping the pacing optimized for mobile advertising.

Why it worked

Built to drive installs

The ad introduces the gameplay within seconds, capturing attention quickly and leading viewers naturally toward a clear download call to action.

Gameplay at the center

Dynamic animations and smooth transitions highlight the most satisfying moments of the game, making the experience immediately engaging for potential players.

Optimized for performance

Created in After Effects with mobile-first pacing and platform-ready formats, the ad is designed to maximize engagement and perform effectively across digital advertising channels.
